Privacy Policy

Benning Hunt · Effective September 5, 2026

Benning Hunt is operated by Coastal Tide Escapes, LLC ("we"). This policy describes what the app collects and how it is used.

What we collect

Account information. If you create a profile, we store your chosen username, display name, and a cryptographically hashed version of your password. We never store your password in readable form. No email address or phone number is required.

Photos and content you share. Harvest photos you upload, along with the year, optional hunting unit, and optional caption you attach, are stored on our servers and are visible to other users of the app. Photos are compressed on your device before upload. Do not upload photos you don't want other users to see.

Nothing else. The app does not collect your location, contacts, or device identifiers, and does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

How it's used

Your content is used solely to operate the app — showing the shared harvest gallery and your own profile. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

Where it lives

Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure in the United States. Hunting-area status information shown in the app is fetched from the U.S. Army's public iSportsman feed and involves no personal data.

Deleting your content

You can delete any of your photos from the Profile tab at any time. You can also delete your entire account — including your profile and every photo you've uploaded — directly in the app: Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also request deletion by emailing coastaltideescapesllc@gmail.com.

Community content rules

Harvest photos must depict legal hunting and fishing activity. Any user can report a photo (Report button on the photo) and block another user (Block button); reported content is hidden automatically once flagged by multiple users and reviewed by us. To reach us about objectionable content, email the address below — we respond within 24 hours.

Children

The app is intended for hunters and is not directed at children under 13.

Not an official government app

Benning Hunt is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the U.S. Army or Fort Benning. Always verify area status and check in through the official iSportsman system before going afield.
